We recently had our 2021 AGM and elected new parents into some of the PTA roles to replace outgoing parents.

The PTA relies heavily on the time and energy donated by a handful of core committee members and dozens of parent volunteers throughout the school year, so please feel free to say hello to us if you see us around the school, and let us know if you have time to help us organise and run PTA events.

The PTA has joined a fundraising program with Stikins - a company that makes sticky name labels for school uniforms - who will make a donation of between £2 - £4 to the PTA for every purchase from their website that uses a special referral code at checkout. Discounted Southend Adventure Island Wristbands - £15 each

Buckhurst Hill Community Primary School's PTA has joined a fundraising program with Adventure Island fun park in Southend on Sea to be able to offer all-day wristbands at the discounted price of £15 each to residents of Buckhurst Hill, Roding Valley, Chingford, Loughton, Woodford, Chigwell and the surrounding areas. Where can I buy wristbands? Daytime We're currently selling tickets at IG9 Cafe in Buckhurst Hill who have kindly offered to help us with sales. The tickets can be exchanged for wristbands at the sales kiosk when you get to the park. Quiz Night

Our Quiz Night returned in roaring style. Maybe it was the complimentary fizz on the door, or maybe the bring-your-own bottle policy, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the quizmasters hosted a fantastic evening. Ticket sales, a raffle and an impromptu game of Heads and Tails all helped us raise nearly £1,000 toward this year's school funding priorities.
